Quick answer: Roku does not allow IPTV apps like IPTV Smarters, so you cannot install TrendyScreen on it directly. Why IPTV apps are not on Roku
Roku only runs channels from its own Channel Store, and it does not allow installing apps from other sources the way Fire TV and Android TV do. Popular IPTV players — IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate, XCIPTV — are not available there. Occasionally a playlist player appears in the store, but they tend to be removed or stop being updated, so we do not recommend building your setup on one.

Option 1: Screen mirroring from Android or Windows
Allow screen mirroring on the Roku
On the Roku, open Settings > System > Screen mirroring and set the mode to Prompt or Always allow.
Install an IPTV app on your Android phone or Windows PC
Start mirroring to the Roku
Android: open Quick Settings and tap Smart View, Screen cast or Cast (the name depends on the phone), then pick your Roku. Windows: press Windows + K and select the Roku.
Play a channel in full screen
Accept the prompt on the TV. Start a channel in the IPTV app and turn the phone sideways for full screen.
While mirroring, the phone must stay on and connected, and the picture depends on your Wi-Fi. Keep the phone and the Roku close to the router.
Option 2: AirPlay from an iPhone or iPad
- On the Roku, open Settings > Apple AirPlay and HomeKit and turn AirPlay on (available on many Roku 4K devices and Roku TVs).
- On your iPhone, install Smarters Player Lite or IPTVX and log in — see the iPhone guide.
- Start a channel, tap the AirPlay icon and choose your Roku. If the app has no AirPlay button, use Screen Mirroring from Control Center.
Option 3 (recommended): plug in a streaming stick
For live sport and everyday watching, the simplest fix is to plug a Fire TV Stick 4K or a Google TV stick into a free HDMI port on your Roku TV.
