Quick fix: force stop the app, restart the device, clear the Smarters cache, and switch the stream format or player in Settings. If it still fails, update or reinstall Smarters, or try TiviMate.
Ten fixes, from quickest to biggest
Force stop and reopen
Firestick: Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > IPTV Smarters Pro > Force stop. Then open it again.
Restart the device
Unplug it for 30 seconds. It clears memory, which matters a lot on smaller sticks.
Clear the cache
Same menu as above > Clear cache. Do not clear data unless you are ready to add your login again.
Reload the lists
In Smarters, use the refresh option for Live TV, Movies and Series. A half-downloaded list causes empty categories.
Change the stream format
Settings > Stream Format: switch between MPEGTS and HLS. This fixes many black screens.
Change the player
Settings > Player Selection: switch from the built-in player to VLC or MX Player (or back).
Check the login
If the app opens but nothing loads, your line may have expired or the URL changed — see Failed to Authorize.
Free up storage
Uninstall apps you never use. Smarters needs room to store its lists and guide.
Update or reinstall Smarters
Install the latest version from an official source (Firestick: Downloader code 78522), then add your user again.
Try another player
If Smarters still misbehaves on that device, TiviMate or IPTV Stream Player often run better on the same hardware.
