Is IPTV down — or is it just you?

When every channel stops at once, it feels like the service is down. Often it is not. This two-minute test tells you which it is, and what to do either way.

Two-minute test: try your login on a second device using a different network — your phone on mobile data is ideal. If it works there, the problem is your home network or device. If it fails everywhere, the server may be down: message us on WhatsApp and we confirm.

The two-minute test

  1. Check another app on the TV (YouTube). Not loading? It is your internet.
  2. Try your phone on mobile data with the same login. Working? The service is up; your home network or device is the issue.
  3. Try another channel group. If only one group fails, it is a source issue for those channels, not a full outage.
  4. Still nothing anywhere? Message us — we tell you whether there is an incident.

If it really is down

Real outages are usually short. Leave the app closed for a few minutes rather than refreshing again and again, keep an eye on our WhatsApp message, and use the VOD library or another device once service returns. If a problem on our side lasts more than 48 hours, our refund policy covers you.

Prevent the next scare

  • Save two players on your device (for example Smarters and TiviMate) to rule out app problems quickly.
  • Keep a backup channel for your favourite sports.
  • Note your plan’s end date in your calendar.

For other symptoms, see the full IPTV not working checklist.

Outage questions

Is IPTV down right now?

The fastest way to know is to test on a second device on a different network (for example, your phone on mobile data). If it plays there, the service is up and the problem is at home. If it fails everywhere, message us — we tell you what is happening and when it will be back.

How long do IPTV outages last?

Most server interruptions are short — minutes, sometimes an hour or two. Planned maintenance is announced in advance on WhatsApp when possible.

Why does IPTV go down during big games?

Big events bring the most viewers at the same moment, and some internet providers block or slow certain streams during live sport. Backup channels and a stable home connection help.

Will I get compensation for downtime?

If a technical problem on our side cannot be fixed within 48 hours, our refund policy applies.
